Wine Salon | Song Pairing: Education | Experience

This special evening is a Wine Salon with industry experts sharing and demonstrating the unique ways they engage their audience. We will have 3-4 vignettes presented throughout the evening as these industry experts show and tell. This will be a fun, entertaining, educational event for all SF marketers and wine lovers to taste and learn!

Randy Caparoso, Bottom Line Editor of Sommelier Journal, a published newspaper, magazine and online wine journalist since 1981, will host a wine pairing with guest winemakers and share how their industry is engaging audiences with the changes in technology and social networks.

Avital Ungar, founder and owner of Avital Tours, will demonstrate how she appeals to her audience with her SF food and wine tours. Avital first became serious about the finer points of life while living in Paris and the quaint town of Aix-en-Provence in southern France.

Jim Kopp, ACME Wine Marketing, will be pouring two first class, extraordinary wines to guests: the 2009 Bradford Mountain Dry Creek Valley Syrah, and the 2008 Russian Hill Estate Chardonnay.

A special musical guest Charlton Lee, violist, and members of the award-winning Del Sol String Quartet will be pairing song and wine. Lee founded the Del Sol String Quartet in 1992. They are critically acclaimed as “steeped in bravery and imagination”. Del Sol explores new ways to interact with audiences, composers and artists across cultures and art forms.
